Townsville Wesleyan Methodist Church

   To motivate people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ - by bringing them to Jesus and membership in his family, developing them to Christ-like maturity, equipping them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s Name.

About the Local Church

The Worship Centre of the our church is located at the corner of Hugh and Palmerston Streets, in Currajong. The church was organised in 1983 and the building purchased in 1984, Pastor Stuart began in 2001.

We aim to develop practical and aesthetic facilities where people enjoy gathering. The hall renovation was a real success as seen above - it looks great and is so useful. We have also completed the new toilet block which was long overdue. We have further plans to upgrade the kitchen, repaint other buildings, and get some water reticulation in place.
